I received so many great suggestions last month when I asked for Paris hotel recommendations that I thought I would seek advice for hotels in Brussels. We are planning a trip for April and I’d like to start my search in the next few weeks. Restaurant suggestions are of course welcome too!

    All the best,
    Ronda

I think I went through blogs who have local reviews from the local people around europe, and between them was Brussels … I can’t remember the name of the blog or the URL, but I think there are other websites that have people’s reviews .. just go through google search .. If went through anyhting I’ll sure tell u:)

Rhonda, the last time I was there I stayed at Monty (http://www.monty-hotel.be/) – it’s a small desinger hotel, quite reasonably priced, but its a little out of the centre of the city…but still accessible to the subway (whatever they call it in Brussels). Can’t remember the places I ate at, but you can’t really go wrong…there is a fabulous old arcade where the Neuhaus choclatier is and there is a great waffle house there (but then again, they’re all over town). Also, there is a great pastry/cake/cookie shop near the centre square too – I’ll look for the name at home. I love Brussels, have a great time!
